ARTITISTIC AND TECHNICAL SHEET
Synopsis
They could have been themselves but without being surprised by what it would have meant to be someone completely different, but then there would be nothing to tell. Three women present themselves to the spectator as they are, sharing their ghosts but also their dreams and longings. The constant questioning of identity leads them to travel unknown paths, from cooking themselves to reinventing their baptism, always aware of the violence implicit in all personal and social relationships. Pussy Koan is what happens when three women wonder who they are, who they were and who they want to be. You only know someone by what they do.

Three women present themselves to the spectator as they are, showing their true selves with intensity and without deception. Discovering the weight of their childhood, the burdens they carry, their desires and longings. Social impositions, fear, family, power, everything that constrains us and impedes our development. The fight to get rid of these corsets. Inspired by the Panic theatre movement of Jodorowsky, Arrabal and Topor, the play is a very plastic show, full of images and metaphors, a research work on ‘identity’, both collective and individual.
Pussy Koan’ presents three women talking about themselves. They pose dilemmas about their fears, dreams, complexes and longings, from the perspective of the absurdity of the unconnected interacting with symbolic elements A good example of non-conventional Valencian theatre. That of the risky surprise.

Las Provincias
An aesthetically appealing and superbly conceived show. A surprising, beautiful speech, with humour and gravity.
